Chandler Cemetery (Dry Fork Cemetery) Monument

Location: N 40.56481 W -112.08053

Comments: This monument stands as a witness of burials from the Chandler Cemetery which was near Dry Fork/Bingham Canyon. The Chandler Cemetery has been referred to as Dry Fork Cemetery by some. FYI-Mr. Chandler generously allowed family/friends and snow slide victims from Finland to be buried on his personal property. When mining operations expanded, Kennecott Copper/Jordan School District relocated the graves in 1999. Kennecott Copper donated the monument plus headstones for placement inside of Bingham City Cemetery. Several headstones state Unknown, Unknown Male etc. For more information about this monument and nearby burials, please click on the following Bingham description link: binghamcemetery.com/bingham_description
